Need for Speed: The Run is a racing video game. Need for speed the run is all about car racing. The main character of this game is Jackson “Jack” Rourke, a mechanic and a daring street racer who owns a garage in San Francisco, which he started by borrowing some money from a mob. Jack was kidnapped because of not paying the money back. Somehow he manages to escape from there. He goes to his former girlfriend and his business partner Sam Harper in a restaurant located in ChinaTown. She suggests him a way out which was an unlawful street racing event “The Runâ€. This event was across the continental USA, starting from San Francisco and ending in New York City. Sam manages the entry fee for the event which was $250,000. But Jack has to defeat over 210 racers to win the jackpot of the event. It was released on November 15, 2011, on different platform PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows for PC games, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Java Platform, Micro Edition.
