The Evil Within 2 is a 3D survival horror video game. It is created by Tango Gameworks and promoted by Bethesda Softworks. It was issued worldwide on 13 October 2017.
This game is the predecessor of The Evil Within video game which was publicized in 2014. The story follows the character of Sebastian Castellanos and his struggles to protect Lily, his daughter. After the events of the previous game, Sebastian Castellanos left the Krimson City Police Department. His daughter Lily is supposed to be dead in their house fire but later the truth revealed that Lily is alive and is being used as the Core for a new STEM system. This system is used to simulate an ideal American town called Union. Sebastian struggles hard to reach near Lily and confronted Myra. At last, Lily and Sebastian escape from the STEM. In the post-credits scene, Sebastian lives a new life with Lily and the STEM system restarts itself.
Player manages the character of detective Sebastian Castellanos. This single-player game has three different modes which include Casual, Survival, and Nightmare.
