This 3D game is the continuation of The Crew game which was publicized in 2014. The story revolves around the unnamed fictional character who struggles to become a racing icon. The racing championship contains four disciplines which include Street Racing, Off Road, Freestyle and Pro Racing. The player is facilitated by Latrell in Street Racing. Tucker “Tuck” Morgan will assist the player in Off-Road. In Freestyle mode, Sofia and her father assist the player and in Pro Racing mode Alexis supports the player.

The game features different types of vehicles like cars, motorcycles, airplanes, and powerboats. The customization feature helps to customize the character of the player and the vehicle. The game also contains cooperative multiplayer mode which help player to join different events together.
