The game focused on the hunter who travels to the New World, a distinct continent from the inhabited Old World. It is an untamed wilderness where monsters wander and the Research Commission has been drawn to disclose the mysterious truths about Elder Dragons. After every ten years, the powerful beasts move to the New World when the phenomenon known as the Elder Crossing occurs. The Expedition fights many battles with powerful monsters and they realize the truth.
The player performs the role of a hunter who either seizes or kills the monsters. After completing different tasks, the player is rewarded with resources like coins, weapons, and more. The powerful monsters can be hunted with the help of multiplayer mode.
