Mafia II is an open world action-adventure video game. In this part of Mafia series, the story revolves around the character “Vito Scaletta”. Vito was born in Sicily in 1925 to a very poor family, a few years later he and his family emigrated to a fictional city of Americ known as Empire Bay. Vito starts school in the new city and got involved with a local criminal Joe Barbaro, later who becomes his best friend. He got arrested in a robbery and given two option, either go to jail or join the army, he chooses the second option and was sent to world war II, wherein operation “Husky” he serves as a paratrooper, later he back to home as he got injured. On his return he came to know that his late father left his mother and sister in massive arrears, Now to make money he again Joe who made his entrance in the world of Mafia. It was released on August 23, 2010, on different platform PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows for PC games, Macintosh operating systems, macOS.
