Lost Planet 2 is a 3D video game of genre shooting. Capcom and Beeline Interactive, Inc. evolved and publicized the game. It was issued on Wednesday, 28 April 2010 for BlackBerry. Later, the game was promoted for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows for PC games.
The story of game initiates on E.D.N. III ten years after events of the first game. The player was given the task to destroy the mine. After the destruction of mine, the temperature in the jungle begins to decrease rapidly. After this, the player-character was assigned different missions like capture a railway gun, combat against Red Eye, and destruction of The Over G. When the Task Force become unable to destroy The Over G, eventually, Akrids flock to “the Over G” and the units outside the core begin to recoil. The Mercenaries and Ex-NEVEC troops securely fly off in a helicopter.
Lost Planet 2 provides the feature of transferring energy to the other player with the help of a new weapon. The player can unlock new items with unique points obtained in the mission.
